Photography Days
Waterfall & Landscape Photography Experiences
Explore. Learn. Photograph.
Join me for a photography day exploring some of the beautiful waterfalls and landscapes of the UK.
These photography days are designed to give you the opportunity to spend time in the landscape, improve your photography and learn how to get the most from your camera.
Whether you’re just starting out with landscape photography or you’re looking to develop your existing skills, I’ll be there throughout the day to offer guidance, advice and practical help.
Most importantly, there will be plenty of time to slow down, explore the location and enjoy taking photographs.
What You Can Expect
Each photography day is designed around the location, conditions and group, rather than following a rigid itinerary.
Depending on the location and conditions, we may explore different viewpoints and compositions and work with waterfalls, streams, rocks, woodland and the surrounding landscape.
During the day I’ll be able to help you with:
Camera settings and exposure
Composition and finding strong viewpoints
Working with natural light
Long-exposure photography
Using a tripod effectively
Filters and other landscape photography equipment
Creating movement and atmosphere in waterfall photographs
Understanding shutter speed, aperture and ISO
Making the most of changing weather and light
Developing your own approach to landscape photography
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and receive individual guidance throughout the day.
Who Are The Photography Days For?
The days are suitable for photographers of different abilities, from beginners who want to understand their camera better to more experienced photographers looking to improve their landscape and waterfall photography.
You don’t need to be an expert.
What matters is that you enjoy photography and want to spend a day exploring and photographing some beautiful locations.
Photography days will generally be kept to small groups so that everyone has the opportunity to receive help and guidance.
